Drop-In Pitch Competition

We want to hear about the awesome business ideas that our SMU students are working on.

Drop into our office on Friday, October 25 and pitch your idea in under 3 minutes for a chance to win an entrepreneur starter pack valued at $150!

This starter pack will include:

• Noise cancelling headphones
• Thermal water bottle
• Wireless phone charger
• Backpack
• Coffee
• Note book
• Pens
• and more!

To participate, students must show up to the SMUEC (960 Tower Rd.) at 2:30 pm and sign up for a 5 minute time slot. Each student will have 3 minutes to pitch their business idea, followed by a 2 minute question and answer period. Students are not required to prepare a power point presentation, however there will be a computer and screen for those who choose to use technology to support their pitch. Student’s pitches will be judged on their use of time, presentation skills, the need/problem being solved, the solution/business idea, and identifying a target audience. Students from all Saint Mary’s academic programs are welcome to participate.
