For the second year in a row, #FoodHackNS is bringing together one hundred students from five post-secondary institutions to participate in a two day hackathon. Students will form teams and develop innovative solutions to reduce food waste in Nova Scotia. The event features a number of guest speakers from the food industry, technology sectors, and academia. Teams will have the opportunity to pitch their solutions for a chance to win seed funding and other prizes to help accelerate their idea.
