Liza Macdonald is the Regional Vice President, Financial Planning for Atlantic Canada. She is responsible for the stewardship of the Financial Planning business, ensuring that RBC delivers the highest standards of financial planning and advice to our clients.
Liza has been with RBC for 25 years and has held positions of increasing responsibility in various divisions including, most recently a role as Senior Director of Role Strategy in RBC’s National Office in Toronto as well as two regional vice president positions in Atlantic Canada. She has also held various roles in retail banking including roles in operations, human resources, sales support and financial planning.
Liza obtained her Executive MBA from the Sobey School of Business in 2009. In 2020 she completed her executive coaching program from Royal Roads University. Liza is a native Nova Scotian, grew up on the south shore and currently resides in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia with her family.
