Omnichannel retailing is an approach that provides a seamless and integrated customer experience between digital and physical channels such as website, social media and brick and mortar stores.
The pandemic forced retailers to accelerate and rethink their omnichannel strategies as restrictions limited in-person shopping. Retailers had to offer new ways for customers to experience their brands and more convenient ways to shop.
