Join us this month to hear from four local entrepreneurs that started their own businesses in the entertainment industry. Each speaker will share their unique experiences and journey towards becoming their own boss.

Be inspired, ask questions, and network!

SMUEC Talks aims to promote an entrepreneurial mindset on campus and inspire students from all programs and faculties to be innovative and pursue new ventures. This is a FREE event open to the public. Food and refreshments will be provided.

OUR SPEAKERS:
– Laura Simpson, Founder of Side Door, The Syrup Factory, and Make.Do.Camp
– Terrence Taylor, Founder of Terrence Taylor Media and Videographer at Common Good Solutions
– Micah Brown, Owner of BATLX and SMU Football Coach
– Tosan Arenyeka, Afro Fusion Musician

The event will be held in the Student Lounge on the fifth floor of the Student Union Building at Saint Mary’s University.
