Starting Point Student Entrepreneurship Conference
FEBRUARY 18-20, 2020
Starting Point Student Entrepreneurship Conference brings together entrepreneurial students from high schools and post-secondary institutions from across Atlantic Canada to hear from amazing speakers, learn from experts in their field, and earn money for their business.
Starting Point is gearing up for it’s 6th annual conference. Since 2015, the conference has hosted 840 student entrepreneurs from across 6 provinces.
This year we are changing the format of Starting Point to what we’re calling Starting Point 2.0, while offering the same great content to high school and post-secondary students.
Starting Point 2020 will follow a boot camp style format that will feature master
classes, an ideation tournament and March Madness style pitch competition that
will take students from idea to implementation throughout the the three days of the
conference. Conference proceedings outline will focus on helping students realize their
vision and help them bring it to fruition through actionable advice and inspiration.
Master Class Speakers
This year, to show our support for student entrepreneurs, Starting Point 2020 will be free of charge for all participating attendees.
Those attending the conference can take advantage of our preferred rates at the Atlantica Hotel Halifax of $109/night at double occupancy. Upon booking, simply mention you are attending Starting Point Student Entrepreneurship Conference and the rate will be applied.
