Starting Point Student Entrepreneurship Conference

FEBRUARY 18-20, 2020

For the past five years, Saint Mary’s University has welcomed delegates from across the country to participate in this unique event. We’ve hosted 690 student entrepreneurs from 6 provinces and were able to give over $48,500 in funding and prizes.

This year’s conference takes place on February 18– 20, 2020 at Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The purpose of the Starting Point Conference is to bring together entrepreneurial students from post-secondary institutions and high schools across Canada to share best practices, hear from amazing speakers and learn from experts in their field.

This year the conference will focus on inspiring students to discover innovative solutions on ocean problems. Students will assigned into different groups, guide by the mentors through the conference, to build a program as a team.
