Virtual Panel Discussion
The industry Hackathon is a part of the Study and Stay Entrepreneurship program (SSE). SSE is a partnership between all the post-secondary institutions and Edu-Nova.
SSE supports international student entrepreneurs by offering access to resources and experiential learning opportunities. Participants gain knowledge of Nova Scotia pillar industries, break through communication barriers and earn seed funding by participating in competitions and activities.
A key element of Study and Stay are our hackathons, which see students working to develop innovative solutions to industry challenges, allowing them to take the lessons they learn in the classroom and apply them to real-world challenges.
The Panel Discussion will focus on the opportunities and challenges in the industries in Nova Scotia, followed by a Q&A session for students to ask questions. We encourage you to think your questions to the panelist in advance.
The September Hackathon will focus on the topic ‘Import-Export’ where we will be bringing experts from the industry to share their insights. We recommend you take the opportunity and join the competition for your chance to win $3,000!
