Do you have a business or an idea for a business? Participate in our virtual pitch competition and could win up to $500!
The Spark Zone and Saint Mary’s University Entrepreneurship Centre is hosting the Spring 2020 Virtual Pitch Competition for post-secondary students across Nova Scotia on Zoom.
Event Outline:
Time Slots: Every participant will be given a 10 mins time slot . 3 mins pitch + 2 mins of Q&A
Registration: Please purchase a participant ticket (free) to pitch. If you want to watch pitches only, you can get free viewer tickets. All participants will be emailed their time slot for pitch and more instruction on registering for the competition.
Eligibility: This competition is open to post-secondary students from Nova Scotia to participate. There is no eligibility criteria for viewers.
Judging: There will be three judges who will choose the winners
Prize:
First place: $500
Second place: $300
Third place: $200
Payment to Winners: Additional information will be collected from the winners. A direct deposit will be sent within 2 weeks.
Additional Resources for Preparation: Please send an email to The Spark Zone Manager, Jason Turner, at jason.turner@smu.ca by Friday (April 24th) noon to book an appointment for pitch training.
