Presented by: April Howe RBC entrepreneur-in-residence

The unconscious bias seminar examines how implicit attitudes and stereotypes result in subtle forms of prejudice and undermine diversity, equity, and inclusion in our society. This session will explain how biases are formed in our unconscious.

Upon completion of this program, participants will:

  •          have a foundational understanding of how bias affects perceptions
  •          know how stereotypes inform our implicit biases and how implicit bias impacts our interactions.
  •          Understand the impact of three kinds of biases that impact the selection and other decision-making processes:
    • implicit or unconscious bias
    • cultural bias
    • systems bias

Food will be provided.
