Come out and join us to learn about current employability programs and how they can help your business grow! The Saint Mary’s University Entrepreneurship Centre is currently offering multiple wage subsidy programs that can help bolster your staff with new skills and fresh perspectives, while helping support your ever-important cash flow. Immediate and spring/summer opportunities are available.

Presenters:

Leslie Gates, Project Manager, Access Ability

Leslie graduated from Saint Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing, in 2019. Over the last four years, she has worked in different employability programs for recent grads, students, youth at risk, and individuals with disabilities. During her last year of university, Leslie was co-president of the student led global organization, Enactus. She used her communication and strategic thinking skills to led projects within the community and expand opportunities for students pursuing entrepreneurship. In her current role at the SMU Entrepreneurship Centre, Leslie work with individuals with disabilities to get them into the workforce.

Natalia Gutierrez

Project Manager, RBC Talent Fund

Natalia graduated from Saint Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resources, in 2019. Over the last five years, she has been involved in the development of different community programs throughout Nova Scotia. Through university, she completed hundreds of volunteer hours leading a social enterprise reducing food waste and food insecurity in the province. She is very passionate about helping students develop their own entrepreneurial mindset. In her current role at the SMU Entrepreneurship Centre, she supports students entrepreneurs, and start-ups in the city that want to grow their teams.
