Options Youth

Options Youth is an employment wage subsidy program funded by Service Canada and facilitated by the Arthur L. Irving Entrepreneurship Centre and Enactus Saint Mary’s. The program works with at-risk youth to empower them to find gainful employment. 

 

Options Online is a free virtual learning platform developed to make personal and professional development training more accessible to youth across Canada. 

About the program

The program offers youth a variety of personal and professional skills training courses following the Skills for Success model, designed to give youth the tools needed to achieve success. Participants will complete ten courses of their choosing from our platform from subjects covering topics including: 

  • Problem Solving 
  • Job Search 
  • Financial Literacy 
  • Interpersonal Skills 

The training will be virtual and self-guided, though participants will have a mentor and access to support throughout the program. 

For Participants:

  • Participants can earn over $900 for Employability Skills Training. 
  • Training is self-guided but must be completed before March 31, 2024. 
  • Continuous support and mentorship while completing the Training sessions.
